It is important that you come to our practice 14 days before your procedure to have an ECG and a laboratory examination performed. In advance, we need an ultrasound finding of your breast. Please note that you should refrain from blood-thinning medications such as aspirin about 4 weeks before the planned surgery date. Alcohol and nicotine consumption should also be reduced during this time to support your health. Don't forget to obtain the prescribed medications in advance.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia to ensure that you are completely relaxed and pain-free during the entire procedure. This allows the surgeon to achieve the best results while you are in a comfortable state.
The duration of the procedure varies depending on the surgical technique used, usually 2-3 hours.

After a breast lift or breast reduction, it is very important to wear the compression bra for 6 weeks. This supports the healing process and ensures the best possible shape of your breasts. During this time, you should take it easy physically to ensure optimal recovery. The suture material used will be removed 14 days after the procedure, which is another step in your healing process.
The first results of a breast reduction or breast lift are visible immediately after the procedure. Once the swelling and any bruising have subsided, the final result usually shows after about 3-6 months.
After a breast reduction or breast lift, patients are usually immediately socially acceptable, but should consistently take it easy in the first 14 days.
Breast reduction scars and breast lift scars depend on the technique used. Common patterns include a scar around the areola (periareolar), an additional vertical scar, or a T-shaped scar for larger reductions.
